Den Tarantino Announcement Monday, 1pm Crandall Library

Dennis Tarantino has announced that he is going to run for the New York State Assembly from the new 114th District.

Den is having a campaign kickoff and press conference tomorrow, Monday, June 25th at 1pm in front of the Crandall Library in downtown Glens Falls.

We are asking everyone on this list to spare a few minutes to come downtown tomorrow at 1pm to show support not just for Den Tarantino, but renewing our community!

Many of us well remember Den's run for the Assembly in 2004, when we endorsed him against Teresa Sayward.  This is now a new district, an open seat, and a wide open race that Den can clearly win.  He intends to wage a battle for "the people's seat," representing everyone in the district, not just the connected few.

This promises to be a great year, not only for our Assembly races, but also a great slate of Supreme Court candidates:  John SIlvestri, Christine Clark, Mark Blanchfield and Jeff Wait, and all our upballot candidates -- Obama, Gillibrand and Owens.  However, victories in these more local races would open up the community and get us back on the road to a richer, more open community life and real economic renewal.

See you all tomorrow at Crandall Library at 1pm.
